#15 ACER JAPONICUM 'MORNING STARBURST'

Deciduous ornamental tree. Mature Height 20-25 feet tall and 15-20 feet wide at maturity. Zones 5 through 9 (withstands temperatures down to -20°F). Spring leaves emerge light golden-green flushed with reddish-bronze or burgundy, transition to green in summer, and turn intense red and burgundy in autumn. More tolerant of full sun, cold, heat, and humidity than many traditional Japanese maples,as it's a cross between a native Vine Maple (Acer circinatum) and the Korean Maple (Acer pseudosieboldianum).
