#15 CRYPTOMERIA JAPONICA 'YOSHINO'

Yoshino Japanese Cedar is a fast-growing, evergreen tree with a refined pyramidal shape and attractive blue-green, scale-like foliage that stays colorful year-round. Its peeling antique-red bark adds extra winter interest.

Mature Height of 50-60', it makes an excellent accent or vertical accent tree. It prefers full sun to partial shade, rich acidic soil, and consistent moisture. Best planted in a sheltered location away from urban pollution and protected from harsh winter conditions.

Blue-green summer foliage becomes slightly bronze-green in cold weather. Handsome form without pruning.
